The American Cancer Society with Relay for Life
Last year, the fraternity raised over $11,000 through Relay for Life. Relay For Life is a community-based fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. As the American Cancer Society's most successful fundraiser and the organization's signature event, the mission of Relay For Life is to raise funds to improve cancer survival, decrease the incidence of cancer, and improve the quality of life for cancer patients and their caretakers.
The Autism Alliance with Winterfest
Last year, the fraternity raised over $8,500 through the annual Winterfest - a broomball tournament between fraternities on campus. The Autism Alliance supports 1,300 families and professionals throughout the country. Their mission is, βTo provide families with information, education and support; plan programs and events that will aid those families; while increasing public awareness regarding autism.β
The JDRF
Last year, the fraternity raised over $2,500 for the JDRF. The JDRF is leading the fight against type 1 diabetes (T1D) by funding research, advocating for policies that accelerate access to new therapies, and providing a support network for millions of people around the world impacted by T1D.
